        current affairs is 5 years newer than jacobin and (subjectively, IMO) is less entrenched/established. But you’re spot on about jacobin lacking in sense

        The fact that Jacobin is going “anti cancel culture” on this and current affairs isn’t is kinda funny considering that current affairs nearly collapsed and was basically cancelled over a labor/editorial dispute with its writers a couple years ago. NJR has more principles than people give him credit for perhaps.
