I’ve considered it, but I don’t want blood on my hands unless it’s active self-defense. Their department or military unit will continue to follow orders because they’re already racist enough to justify doing that job, so I don’t see it sparking some 1905 battleship mutiny if the current repression of women and minorities in the military hasn’t. The police union will preserve the institution that funds it over the handful of officers it already considers DEI hires from an era progressives forced on them. There’s no wider impact so I’d just be adding one more name to the list that ICE uses to justify their larger 2026 budget. I don’t want to give them a win by sending someone’s grandparents to a concentration camp, especially when that same cop or soldier is going to deliver them to that camp in a few months anyway.
Plus swatting in general is as bad a tactic as spraying a machine gun at a house. They might get the wrong address, they might kill a kid or a dog. Each of these ICE raids is potentially a massacre by barely-trained hogs.

i’m not sure if ICE are even actual federal agents or legal law enforcement. i don’t know anything about anything but i’ve seen videos where they do scatter when local police show up. at the same time i’ve seen videos where the police show up to help ICE. but i just find it strange how they aren’t required to follow ANY law enforcement regulations, while actual cops for everything they get away with, do have to identify themselves as officers, have warrants etc. like if the fbi wanted to bug your room they would need a warrant, but ICE can just break into your house and kidnap you. obviously, laws are only enforced when they want to enforce them, but even now if you get pulled over by a regular cop there’s all this procedure and language and shit. if ICE sees you in traffic and thinks you’re mexican they can just plow into you and take you away
I think all the formalities of regular law enforcement will be relics of history within a few years.
