I can imagine people having fun getting lost in the flow of playing a competitive sport. I’ve also heard some people experience a post-workout high. But does anyone actually feel pleasure in the moment while lifting weights, jogging, cycling, etc?

If so… what does it feel like? Is there anything the rest of us can do to cultivate such a mindset?

Pre-workout supplements are things that give you energy for the workout. Just search for “preworkout” on like Amazon, Walmart, GNC, etc and you’ll find a bunch. Be warned that some of them have a fuckton of caffeine, so you might need to cut back on coffee. Also, they can make you itchy in weird places.

When I take preworkout, I can usually push myself for like a whole extra hour.

The extra time in the gym is probably due to some extended release caffeine that some blends include. But you’re 100% right about the level of caffeine included. It can really fuck up your day if you don’t understand your tolerance and cycling is something I highly recommend to anyone who uses pre workout. Makes coming back like Christmas even if the first week is a bit rough
