    The resolution of the Palestinian issue was recognized as the only path to peace and stability in the Middle East; A call for a ceasefire in Gaza and provision of humanitarian aid to the enclave’s population;

    No word of a 2 state solution!

      No use beating a dead horse. Over the past ten to twenty years it has become painfully obvious to every serious international actor just how dead that idea is now. And if we’re being honest, it was never a realistic option to begin with.

      A Palestinian state cannot exist alongside this rabid, genocidal Zionist entity, it cannot exist with its territory split into besieged enclaves for which the entity controls entry of supplies, water, energy, it cannot exist without sovereign control over its own borders or a national army, and it cannot exist with Zionist settlements spreading like tumors on its land.

      “A resolution of the Palestinian issue” implies the destruction of the Zionist entity, there is no other option. The Zionists have boxed themselves into a corner, and now, if they ever stop their reign of murder and apartheid, the whole project falls apart.

        (I am celebrating the lack of the 2 state line in case that wasn’t clear) While you and I know it is a not a resolution to the issue China seems to still say “2 state” every time they talk about the issue.

        The 2 state line surely would have been brought up in the discussions of the declaration and its absence means that the fact that 2 states is not a solution has been discussed in detail behind closed doors.

        We’ll wait to see if China’s next statement on the issue includes the line or not but this could be a big step forward.

          To be fair, even Hamas still says they would accept the “two state solution”. Because any kind of true and official Palestinian sovereignty is an existential threat to the entity. It would trigger a domino effect showing that the Zionist attempt to implement their “final solution” to the “Palestinian problem” has failed and their “greater Israel” dream is dead and buried.

          That would induce a wave of mass migration of settlers back to their places of origin, in addition to an economic collapse as the whole Ponzi scheme (justifying investment today with the promise of further land theft and territorial expansion tomorrow) that the entity runs on implodes.

          Viewed that way, a “two state solution” is just a step on the way to full liberation.
