Not sure if this is the best place for this, but is there any good alternatives out there for the standard windows office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
And I’m not talking about Libre Office or OpenOffice or the other copyright-respecting ones. I’m asking for one that will let me do everything Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Photoshop can do, but on Linux, without running wine or dosbox. Especially all the tiny little fiddly things they’ve copyrighted.
Stg, Microsoft must have read that comic where the Joker tried to copyright fish and thought that was a great idea.
I haven’t used the Office tools in a while, but what is missing from something like LibreOffice? There’s probably other software to fill the gaps
well, why doesn’t LO impress let you drag shapes out farther from the slide
The closest will be OnlyOffice, if you use something like Nextcloud you can even integrate it into online workflow same as with MS Office.
For linux I don’t know but if you can pirate office for windows, which you can with autoKMS or whatever the name is, I’m guessing you can do the same on linux
