I bought a safety razor a couple months ago and I’ve been using some blades that came with it, I don’t even think they have a brand, it looks like it’s just some Chinese manufactured stuff without name and they are okay, but I think I could get something a little bit better. Has any of you tried the Feather brand? I think they’re Japanese or somethign.
Even the waterproof ones, you should clean out the heads and re-oil somewhat regularly, and you can use mineral oil when you run out of the tiny bottle of oil these machines usually ship with. It drains the batteries a lot less when it’s well lubricated too. I’ve had one for also about 10 years, uses double A’s, but I change them maybe once every two years.
