I’ve recently had a bunch of Vtuber clips in my recommended… Shit like this is why I don’t really participate in anime communities. I’ve been unsubbed from r/anime for a long time, and r/animemes more recently after the community had a meltdown over the mods adding a “no slurs” rule.

It is so pathetic what is going on. I enjoy watching the new english v-tubers but this is souring my mood, I really hope more people use this term holoreactionaries i came up with lol. It really feels like 4chan stirred up this drama on purpose honestly after they destroyed animememes and they got bored
I personally really enjoy vtubers but man do I hate the company atmosphere. I think nijisanji is better with this than hololive because of the independence but man is Japan’s company atmosphere toxic.
