    Honestly I hope not that many people do this. I get that it feels good to stick it to reddit and we don’t like them profiting off of our content, but there is SO MUCH good information/help that we have sitting on reddit that you just can’t find anywhere else.

    I can’t tell you how many times I solved a problem by finding a slightly related reddit comment that I couldn’t find an answer for anywhere else. Going to be sad times when we can’t do that anymore :(

      You’re right. It’s a damn shame it has come to this. Reddit is/ was one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) repositories for information/tips/tricks/help guides/random comments that finally help you crack that problem you’d been struggling with for weeks.

      But it just goes to show you, never trust something like this to a closed source, private, or for profit entity, because they can randomly decide to screw anyone over whenever they like for whatever reason they deem acceptable.
