Let’s say I want to look up posts for a specific game that doesn’t have its own dedicated community but could have been mentioned in a post or a comment somewhere.
Using Search in Jerboa only looks for communities but not for posts nor comments. There’s a triple dot menu next to the search bar but it doesn’t do anything.
Example:
When looking for Final Fantasy posts all I see are communities but the game can be mentioned in general gaming communities as well, which I can’t look up.
This is a missing feature. I think it’s going to come in version 0.0.35 but I might be wrong.

I was worried it’s a skill issue on my part.
Yeah Jerboa is not bad but still missing a bunch of very helpful features. I’ve resorted to using the mobile web app for Lemmy instead. So far it’s better, functionality-wise. But I’m sure Jerboa will soon catch up and go beyond.
