I currently pay for YT music premium but I’d really rather not give Google my money.

Revanced does actually offer patches for YT Music as well. Here are the patches available for Youtube Music. All you need to do is install an apk of the app if you are non-root, install Vanced MicroG so you can login with your Google account, and then follow the usual ReVanced patching procedure.

There is yt music revanced too, you can patch it yourself by revanced manager
there’s also LibreTube. I found it to be surprisingly useful and snappy
I was gonna say it’s already an option (along many other apps btw) in the manager, but someone already let you know. The latest apk of yt music works btw. The recommended one stopped working suddenly for me.
Does anyone have a solution for ios on this? There is https://github.com/qnblackcat/uYouPlus/ But I find that the downloads are still extremely slow even after the 3.0 update

If it has to be YT Music it seems like YTMusicUltimate is good.
