Absolutely, long time vassals like Saudi Arabia turning away from US shows that they see the writing on the wall. This is going to be a self reinforcing process as well. The more countries slip out from under US grip, the easier it becomes for other countries to do so. At the same time, US will be forced to commit increasingly more resources to keep the vassals still under their control.
