The ETR 600 is a class of trains built by Alstom, and are used on the routes between Roma-Bolzano and Roma-Trieste. The train tilts, using Pendolino technology, allowing higher speeds to be maintained through corners without causing discomfort to passengers. The trains are operated by Trenitalia, originally under the Frecciargento (Silver Arrow) branding used for trains capable of travelling between 250 km/h and 285 km/h, In 2022 they were rebranded under Frecciarossa (Red Arrow) after the Frecciargento branding was retired.

The ETR 600 has also been adapted for use in China as the China Railway CRH5 Hexie. Initially 60 sets were ordered, of which nine were manufactured by Alstom and 51 by CNR Changchun Railway Vehicles. Since, another 80 sets have been created for a total of 140, operating across China’s north from Beijing to Ürümqi.

Only you can answer the question of who you are, or how you identify, comrade

Honestly the larger societal idea of what a man is and should be is trash, if you want to call yourself a man but dont feel like you fit what other people expect, make the circle encompassing what a man is larger

I’m sure youre gonna get some better answers than this, I’m more vibes than theory today

I also feel this conversation / comment is fine here

    • Already a great answer, especially about making the circle bigger. Much love, comrade.

I still would love to hear if anyone has strong opinions about the permanence of questioning as itself an aspect of gender. Wondering about other’s experiences

You’re good to post here imo, gender questioning is cool and good and welcome

Maybe someone else feels differently, but I think if you feel like you’re constantly ready to hear gender diverse peoples’ perspectives and truly consider them as human perspectives that relate to you as a human, then that just makes you an open minded person when it comes to gender stuff. You can be as cis as they come and feel this way imo. Gender is a class system, so it’s always good to be aware of the systemic nature of it and listen to those who are affected the worst by it.

But more to the original point, I can relate quite a bit to you not feeling like you quite fit in your gender role. I found non-binary quite freeing in that respect, since the only thing that label assumes is that you’re not “man” or “woman”. There’s so much space outside of that and it felt very freeing to let go of a very prescriptive label and focus of whatever “me” is, with the perspective that if I find a better fitting label, that’s cool, but for now I’m just some kind of non-binary person.

I love this, and wholeheartedly agree! It’s always a struggle for balance such that marginalized voices are not silenced or feel unwelcome to speak, however. So far we have done well on this comm with just how many mods we have.

        • Thanks for the time and comment!

I think through reading your 2nd part there, about being open-minded, kinda helped me realize my feeling a bit better. I find myself often wondering if my questioning of my gender is because of a question about gender existing broadly, universally, or a question about my own experience of my gender. And I have no answer for that but am happy floating there.

So thanks for the comment, definitely helped a good amount.

It’s always cool to imagine that freedom of non-binary, love it for you!

Makes sense. Sorta the “do I feel this way because I’m a fish in water who doesn’t realize water exists or am I just missing an experience everyone else has or is everyone else also just pretending gender exists so Big Bathroom can sell more bathrooms?”
