His bad takes include: “ACAB includes Chinese cops,” “Uyghur genocide is exaggerated, but there’s definitely some oppression going on” and “grayzone and multipolarista are contrarians, just because false us propaganda says China bad, it doesn’t mean China good.” He seems to think that China will never be near as bad as the US, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. He’s willing to defend Stalin with facts and logic, but he’s not his strongest supporter. And he also doesn’t have a good definition for socialism (he basically gave the definition for Utilitarianism instead when asked). Overall I think he’s a good researcher and his videos are valuable, but take his China takes with a grain of salt. Also, BE 2 is just terminally online streamer drama.
