    I’m surprised it took this long to get a competent reply. I understand this. I’m engaged in mutual aid work and education within my community, and while voting isn’t going to solve anything by itself, it’s still a tool of political action that should be utilized. Less evil will ALWAYS be better than more evil, but because I made a quip highlighting a disengenuous ommission instead of a thesis …

      Has anyone here argued for voting for the greater evil? You didn’t comment a “gotcha,” the point of this meme is to highlight a problem with the liberal “solution” of continuous right-wing sliding. Voting for the greater evil is irrelevant, and not voting doesn’t change the dynamic, the point is that none of the choices within the framework of electoralism solve the underlying problems to begin with.

      We were all already saying this. The danger in your top-level comment is that it legitimizes electoralism as a solution, when it is at best a band-aid.

      Even the original post you claim has a disingenuous omission doesn’t say “keep voting for the right so we can descend into fascism even faster”
