I’ve heard there have been fights between players and regulatory bodies to ditch the tiny bikinis in favor like sports bras and shorts. Doesn’t seem like hte players have one yet.
AFAIK Olympic Beach Volleyball permits shorts, leggings, T shirts, one piece and two piece swimsuits edit: and full-body and hair coverings for those whose religion requires it. If you scrub through the recent games you’ll see a lot of women wearing the alternative choices, it’s just the USA team seems to have everyone wearing a bikini.
