Why do I feel like there’s a but coming at some point in this book? My guess is since the DSA imploded, pressure was put on Bernie to fix what he sparked, and so this book perhaps some “campaigning” of course he would never be selected or challenge that decision as we know. Or perhaps it’s just that Bernie wants a summer home, or another one for all I know, and I’m reading too much into this.

Yes because his “…Stop!” worked so well the first time. Remind me if I’m mistaken, I recall him only standing out on his own to attempt to ‘stand us down’ as it were the one time, then from that point on he was simply reading scripts from the DNC. Well as history shows, manufactured or genuine, our class’ answer was each time “we no longer listen to your orders”. Bernie surrendered his movement to Clinton to control, of whom his followers were adamantly against, and so the rebellion which followed was unstoppable. There has never been a dog who returned to that leash. Perhaps historians will write about that spectacular fuck up one day; The day the empire resurrected their country’s left to be simmered and aimed, which in the process immediately went rogue and began gnawing at their ankles. I would read it if for nothing else the laughs. 😂
