Kind of a unique situation here in the imperial burger core where one member of the ruling class is at odds with the other part. Sure they always come together to purge the poor but I wonder if america will be unique when fascism kicks off if Trump is going to kill his enemies in the ruling pundit class for example, and that’s why we see them all kissing his ass (fruitlessly because like he gives a fuck). Thought?

As we have seen, Democrats are powerless to undo anything he does, because it benefits their donors, so I don’t think he’ll bother.

Just a continued culling of the most vulnerable, and harassment and arrest of any leftist who dares to protest the burgerland death cult.

That wouldn’t be unique, the Hitlerites expropriated a ton of Jewish businesses to give them away to their donors at bargain prices. Part of how fascism violently stabilizes a struggling capitalist system in crisis is that it consolidates capital alongside the arbitrary friend-foe distinctions it draws. And while doing so, it also misdirects frustration with the system and obfuscates systemic problems. The nazis also talked a lot about the difference between “creating” and “greedy” capital, in verbage very close to capital G gamers nowadays complaining about “corporate greed” instead of capitalism, and pretended that only Jewish bankers and the like were the bad, greedy kinds of capitalists while German steel barons profiting from the party’s arms deals after having them funded throughout the Weimar years were shown as good, fatherland-serving job creators.

That wage labor is inherently exploitative by default, that capitalism as a system will always let greedy and ruthless entrepreneurs advance easier because that’s just the most rational and efficient way of acting in the free market and that therefore, it’s free markets themselves that are to blame for greedflation and exploitation, that you can never fix such a fundamentally broken system by just going up against a few individual actors but need systemic change, all of that is conveniently hidden by such scapegoating.

Idk, Trump doesn’t seem like a purgey guy. Idk that the apparatus exists yet for killing people who matter, and idk if Trump has the right kind of clout to McCarthy them. I could see that apparatus being set up but i think it’d take a few years and I don’t think Trump could do it unless some dedicated and moderately competent ideologues handled the actual work. Americans are notoriously lazy and domesticated.

Yeah, imo, it’s not that Trump isn’t gonna be evil, he’s just not gonna be different. It’s gonna be the same horrors we’re already used to cranked a bit faster than usual. Again.

I should clarify my stance though. Slightly worse for the people at that precipice where the government and society considers you expendable… Absolute shit storm for everyone that’s already been over that edge. The horrors will continue to consume us, and climb the cliff as people who weren’t vulnerable before will start suddenly wondering “what’s happened to democracy in america” and all that bullshit. For a bunch of ignorant libs out there, things will get dramatically worse as they wake up to reality.

Trump loves praise and adulation though, he’s like the only fascist that ass kissing might actually work on.

The only possible outcome I see from this is strengthening the security/surveillance state and going after leftists even harder. Almost makes me wonder if that wasn’t the shooter’s real motivation but that shot came real close so idk.

I feel like people ignore that (possibly) small bourgeoisie main perceived enemy is not unions, its google/amazon/uber eats. Mr trumpo however is too indecisive to go for it shrug-outta-hecks

They consider their main enemy to be both unions and monopoly capital, and the most radical (fascist) petit Borg imagine that they are actually part of the same “conspiracy”

but do they though? how can small business interact with a union? I dont see particularly strong unions drive in non-chained production/services. Its fairly obvious though how government and something like google reviews/uber eats fees/facebook adverts can fuck small restaurant. (also minimum wages law, to be fair, but not unions themselves)

They understand that unions make the improve the labor market for workers, raising wages across the economy and advocating for workplace regulations that they despise.

    Nothing happens in America…

Just like how the Dems-aligned bourgeoisie prbly need the Reps (as a heel reactionary face to survive), Reps-aligned bourgeoisie would also do the same for the Dems (to paint them up as this radical org)

    They’re an unholy matrimony…
