Do you happen to have any info about intra marxist conflict in India?
I have a Maoist friend that is adamant that CPI marxist has made violent provocations against the Maoists. I personally am exhausted by drawing out conversations about this with people who are so convinced but I also have a limited understanding of marxism in India and for all I know what they are saying is true. Also maoists are too dogmatic to trust when it comes to stuff like this and are too quick to exaggerate, justify, and advocate for violence so for all I know CPI marxist is justified in fighting with maoists.
Information is often very scarce when it comes to the Naxals (like pretty much the rest of Maoist theory in Peru and the Philippines), however, the claim that CPI (Marxist) made violent provocations against Maoism is false. From “Naxalism Today”, The naxals claim that CPI(Marxist) always served the ruling class, despite a lack of evidence. CPI (Marxist) also states that Naxalism often targets their party especially in the region of West Bengal. So if anything, it’s the maoists who are attacking CPI (Marxist) and not the other way around.
