I had to google to check if my own brain hadn’t melted. At Bluesky if there are a lot of comments - I usually can suss out the shorthand if I’m confused. But the site’s shorthand is kind of weird for me. There are times I can read a post two or even three times in a row but I’m not sure of the tone of the pronouncement. Ironic? Unironic? Sort of ironic? Sometimes I just say in my head “What the fuck,” and close the tab.

The funniest (as in sad-funny) is that Bluesky is like reddit without a downvote button. To get a similar “got you” dopamine hit people tend to block with reckless abandon. Not just liberals - leftists too. I assumed if I politely asked her what she meant - she’d block me.
