They’re right, the title is misleading. It says “number of bombs” but then there’s the asterisk that says “Estimated tons of explosives dropped”. It’s still a harrowing statistic, but they could’ve worded it better. They could’ve said “Amount of bombs” and they wouldn’t be misleading.
“Amount of bombs dropped on Gaza surpass ww2” this is just false. And false by a BIG AMOUNT like ten of millions of bombs.
A lot of peoples will just see the title and will not dig deeper , they will never see that it was compared to some cities and not the war field.

I mean considering most bombs weight quarter to half of a ton, this stat in tonnes makes it much more ghastly than if that was a number of bombs.
