A childhood friend of mine worked in Facebook’s and Meta’s privacy division. Had the pleasure to recently hang out with them and they told me that Meta cares about your privacy because, since the company is so massive, there are always eyes, laws and regulations asking them to. I thought they were joking but no. They were completely serious.
