Good to know that I’m not alone in not being the biggest fan of novels according to the article’s preamble 😅

I like some of his short stories, which are a little bit like Poe in some ways. But I—and I can’t really remember—I think he came off as a sort of impish libertarian in some bits of articles or essays, though it doesn’t sully his other output.
