I couldn’t take the rest of the article seriously after the author described the CEO’s change of position as a “complete 360”. 😂

Typical capitalist rag trying to trick us into thinking we won so we stop demanding better treatment while giving them what they want.

“Hybrid” isn’t really a win for workers. One of the biggest advantages of remote work right now is that it significantly decreases the risk of getting Covid and Long Covid. Work is a big transmission vector, especially now that liberals have killed mask mandates. Having to go on site 3 days a week means taking on a risk of bringing home a deadly or debilitating disease 3 days a week. This is how a coworker got multiple family members hospitalized with Covid over Christmas break this past winter.

For the most part if a job can be done hybrid, it can and should be done fully remote. Even if there’s a bit more friction or more logistics to work out to make the job remote, it should be remote, because people’s lives matter more than anything those companies can possibly get out of burning us up.
