    The UK should have had people like Jens Evensen, Arve Johnsen and Farouk al-Kasim who made sure that Norway nationalized the oil and didn’t sell the rights.

      Ahhh the first world privileges… Here on third world, nationalization of resources means some Freedom lessons on economics, followed by embargoes and possibly political destabilization.

        Congratulations, we swapped embargoes for US bases - Making Norway prime nuclear targets when we otherwise would be uninteresting backwaters. Other than that, we have PAX AMERICANA and no political challengers to the status quo.
