    I actually used to buy Wii and 3DS virtual console games, cause I wanted to support more old games being available via ‘legitimate’ means. But

    1. ‘Legitimate means’ is bullshit, just yoink em

    2. Buying them officially was 99%-100% of the time worse than using an emulator from the 90s (hi ZSnes, hi Nesticle lol)

    3. The people who made these games aren’t getting the money. Even if Hitoshi Akamatsu was still around at Konami, there’s no way they’d give him a cut of every copy of Castlevania sold. Most times you’re just paying whoever has the publishing rights.

    4. When they shut down the Wii store and stuff, that was kind of it. Lol
