I guess it’s sometimes called volksmarchen in German, which isn’t ominous at all
Everything sounds ominous in German, like “Happy walk of friendly people” is
Glücklicher Spaziergang friedlicher Menschen
I’d translate friendly as freundlich not as friedlich. Friedlich I’d translate to peaceful.
