      i tried this but nothing was recorded. i have allowed all the necessary permissions too. i am on Android 11 now.

        The F-Droid page had this:

        MOST PHONES DOES NOT SUPPORT CALL RECORDING. Blame Google or your phone manufacturer not me! […] Google knows about issue but do nothing, can read more here

        I had it working on LineageOS 8.1, which might be why it was working since Lineage makes little improvements to absolute bone stock Android and generally tries to fix a lot of Google’s BS.

          I read that and tried every combination of source and encodings. But it did not work. I am using a product of Google BS. :(

    As far as I know, new Android ( A9 or A10 ? ) prevents call recording other than from the microphone, unless the app is from the phone’s manufacturer. Because of this quality is shit. Hooray Anuloid !

    I think the new Android versions started including that feature in the dialer app. At least LineageOS has it by default, you just press one button to start recording.

      the google dialer makes an announcement before starting the recording. i hate that.
