They act like they’ve found the secret key to decoding reality by applying ‘baby’s first class reductionism’ to the world and it shows. This is the same myopia that would lead one to conclude that cops are members of the working class. They need to apply some fucking finesse. This is not 1870. Went on there the first time today and they have post label of “white guilt” that tells me all i need to know.
It also really bothers me how much they hate autistic people. They use “autistic” (and other less nice terms) to mean “cringe,” and throw around the R-word like it’s nothing. Combine that with their transphobia and they give off Kiwi Farms energy.
Their R word use is a sort of filter used to keep intersectional leftists off the board. They say it to be assholes but it also serves a weird gate keeping purpose. People here won’t use vulgarity like that. Just an observation.
now imagine that the whole society is like at least this stupid and genuinely believe stuff even worse than this about you and it has real fucking consequences for your life… and yeah… being trans is a lot of really dumb, pointless shit that only exists to make your life harder.

My favorite thing is the sort of people who will say shit like “now I think we should all live and let live” or “as long as they’re not hurting anybody people should live however they want” and then as soon as any hot button topic about trans people comes up they lose their goddamn minds.
Like I remember a flare up of articles about trans kids transitioning before puberty, and pearl clutching morons who never even stopped to consult the science on the issue just assumed this was some terrible moral failing and the death of Western Civilization.
