I get that conservatives, especially in the US, are getting quite problematic and have some overlap with the far-right. They are still mostly workers, and thus deserve solidarity, especially when they support a cause that the anti-authoritarian left also supports. It seems they could use some help organizing.
I think the left really needs to start to increase discussions with people outside of their circle again, the isolation has been going on for far to long. Issues where there is overlap between the two wings, like the topic of Hong Kong, are the perfect chance for this. I think it would be a great chance to show that not all leftists support the authoritarian methods of China, as they seem to believe and not all “antifa types” think that everyone on the right of them are fascists who should be beaten in the streets and of course, show solidarity to Hong Kong.
Sure, they might not want to work with anyone on the left, but maybe it’s worth a try? Anyone in the US/Georgia want to support them? Thoughts? Am I being to naive? In my opinion, actions like this are happening way to seldomly:
I don’t see why not. Conservatives are no different than other liberals. We all started as liberals initially.
