      Apparently not. From my research (didn’t save any links) they just packed up and left without any fuss. Ironically that also resulted in massive profits for Pepsi because their nemesis disappeared over night.

        It’s a different scope for each company. Coke just loses soft drink sales. PepsiCo is like an entire portfolio of junk food.

    Some corporations are truly multinational. Can’t quite tell Russia company to not be a Russia company. That is just how it is. Sidenote: I have a B.S. in Int’l Business

      No, if they play internationally they cannot. Telling individuals what they can and cannot talk about is another thing though.

        They’re not telling individuals what they’re allowed to talk about. These are rules for official company marketing communications.

        We may not agree with their stance, but they are well within their rights here.

      I would prefer it if corporations just didn’t have the power to sway international politics. That’s not their wheelhouse and it’s fucked up that their decisions have global consequences.
