Out of interest, what do Gonzaloites actually summarise as Gonzalo-Thoughts contributions to marxism that warrants him being a new head?
I’ve tried to read Gonzalo a few times but it always ends in me stopping because it’s such a mess.
Contrast this to Mao for example and it’s very very easy to point to MZT, Mass Line and various implementations of anarchist features that made the peasant revolution successful as the reasoning for him to be a new head.
If you can’t clearly summarise theoretical contributions that warrant being a head I think you’ve gone astray by claiming anyone should be.
why is he bad
Gonzalo pursued violent revolution despite demonstrable lack of popular support, which under different theoretical branches of Marxism (marxist-leninist) would have been abandoned in favour of alternative methods until the correct conditions arose to have popular support for violent revolution.
Lack of discipline within the ranks also lead to particular excesses that are universally condemned, the most famous of which being boiling babies. Although Gonzaloites will claim that’s propaganda you won’t see anyone that isn’t a Gonzaloite defending it because the evidence was too strong.
While most branches of marxism can at least agree to disagree with various other branches, you won’t see much love between any branches and Gonzaloites. They’re pretty much universally condemned and shoved off to the side by the rest of marxism.
