The anti-science crowd in the German Green Party will block it.
It’s not just the Greens anymore, their anti-science propaganda is so deep that most Germans believe it, or at least blindly accept it.
No way, we’ll end up with our rivers too hot and the power plants turned off like France.
Plus a high cost of building/removing/maintaining. And a dependency on third party states (again). And inhumane working conditions in the uranium mines. And radioactive waste.
