if microsoft is loving linux and open source just to extinguish it, then why doesn’t canonical or other linux company do the same but for all microsoft services?? something like this:

1. canonical creates an operating system that works with windows and is linux too
2. a few years after integrate proprietary components and deprecate all the open source components
3. make the requirements for installing said operating system huge and not available for anyone
4. abandon it… and windows gets abandoned too

im sorry, i dont dislike microsoft but if canonical wanted to, they could do that!!
