I haven’t used github since they anounced they would require two factor authentication for all contributors.

      There are Gitea and Codeberg mirror repos listed in README. My issue is that I’m mostly there not to submit code but to add issues to the tracker, which I believe requires the Github account.

    On a tangent subject, 2FA is open standard and you can use freedom and privacy respecting apps to login to github like FreeOTP+ or similar. You may find them on f-droid.

    I believe you can use a read-only checkout which should work without login on Github and then create patchfiles from the local git repo
