Gavin Newsom's career began in the hospitality industry. He became interested in politics early and his star rose quickly to California governor.

bit absurd how they characterize him on his ‘business success’ when it was just bankrolled by a ghoul that’s richer than god.

Here is the liberal ideal candidate of 20 years ago. And he even seems competent enough to carry out their agenda. Yet they will absolutely stick with Biden.

You know what the greatest absurdity is? Since he is Californian bourgeoisie royalty, Gavin actually knows where his bread is buttered, so he is really the driving force behind the normalization of U.S.-China relations, which is such an interesting analogy that the U.S. is basically a feudalist system masquerading as a democracy. We have to have a duke intervene on the central government’s fuck-ups.

The Californian economy is so dependent on the Chinese and related Asia-Pacific markets remaining stable, and the Californian economy is one of the only driving forces for American economic growth, that they are able to be one of the only political forces to pierce though the miasma of D.C. politics.
