NASA has hit a significant problem. Two fasteners are stuck.
Nice click out of one….
I’m the designated jar opener in my family, if they bring it to my couch while I’m watching the news, I’m sure I can get it open in a couple seconds. Then they can say the customary thank you, which is “oh, I must have loosened it.” and then leave.
“oh, I must have loosened it.” and then leave.
I take the jar, open it, say “That was easy, here, you try” before putting the lid back on really tight.
Just tap it with the handle of a table knife
You gotta run it under the tap for a minute first, to help loosen it up.
Have they tried running it under hot water for a minute or so?
Multiple combination wrenches (spanners). Most other brute force methods are obviously out.
Use a hex bit on the bolt, one small wrench to grip the bit and chain a few wrenches together for leverage. They will wrap around in an approximate circle for a small space.
Naw it’s obviously BFH time!
They are working in a small sealed space, filled with nitrogen and only a small access hatch. So … SFH?
A little WD-40 should take care of it!
Maybe they should take this as a sign…
It has thargoid sensor fragments inside
If not friend, then why flower shaped?
They’re Love-me-nots, you have to pluck the petals
For ?
A sign they shouldn’t over-torque fasteners of course.
Do they not have hammers?
Just put a length of scaff tube on the end of the spanner….lean into it real good.
If that fails it must be time for the BFH
If that fails get a BBFH
Then Scaff tube again
Then call old mate to smash it with a BBBFH while you lean on the scaff tube.
