So this is a bit over my head, though I understand it at a high level perspective. This is from 2012, but it’s super cool. It’s almost like real-life Matrix hacking in the way the binary data is visualized and analyzed. I also thought it was very interesting how files of similar types (ASCII, pictures, audio, etc.) generate very similar patterns. Note he mentions statistical analysis, which is an essential concept regarding AI and neural networks before those buzzwords became popular.
