Good. I hope he cooperates fully. If he did anything wrong, let him face consequences! Because you know what? Even though I think he’s doing a good job as President, I also think that he’s just, you know, a man.
As the article covers, both he and Pence handled this sort of thing appropriately. I can speak with a bit of experience on this, as I held a clearance in the past and have handled Classified documents. The number one thing they tell you is: don’t lie. If you somehow fuck up and end up with Classified material in a place it shouldn’t be, you are supposed to immediately contact your Security Officer and ensure the material is properly secured until it can be properly returned to appropriate storage. In both the Biden case and the Pence case, this is what they did. Most of the time, if the material got out of proper storage through an honest mistake and you fessed up as soon as you realized it and got it secured, the worst you’re going to face is a stern warning not to do it again. Subsequent violations mat result in your clearance being yanked and/or criminal charges for flagrant violations.
By contrast, if you knowingly take classified material home, and lie about it to the FBI, you’re probably going to jail.
