Kenya is in Africa. It was a colony of the UK. It is a black nation. It’s borders were drawn by the West but Kenya is not part of the West, it is part of the South.

Haiti is in the Western hemisphere. It is a nation born of slave revolt. The West brought Africans to Haiti. At it’s height, France was importing 50,000 new slaves every year into Haiti because they were working them to death. Haiti was shut out of the world economy by the West and a debt was levied on them by France and supported by the West - a debt for the price of each black slave that the owners lost ownership of when the slaves revolted. Haiti was required by the West to adopt Western demands in order to be allowed any hope of feeding and caring for it’s people through trade. Haiti is part of the South.
