    Especially when you consider that democracy still exists today despite being a nation under attack.

    They’ve literally postponed next year’s elections. Democracy is explicitly on pause because they’re under attack.

    Plus of course the banning of opposition parties.

      You don’t understand, democracy means they have good vibes. I don’t know why you bring up elections and the viability of opposition parties, are you some kind of Putler bot?

      You can’t pause something that never existed in the first place. I’d hardly consider a US coup puppet government a “democracy”.

      Although a bunch of bureaucrats did get to buy a third vacation home, so who can say the coup was really all that bad?
