    Only a tiny percentage of their viewers live in big cities, so I’m certain that they think she’s the crazy one. Their viewers are terrified of people they see outside of their cars, even in their small towns - walking next to the street? Must be homeless or secret antifas trying to steal meemaw’s mypillow.

      I know people like this who live in rural areas that are sort of like this. They love talking to other people that they know are part of their community. Anyone that looks or dresses “urban” is immediately started at with hostility and suspicion. It’s where they reach anyplace near a city that they begin to panic and look over their shoulder every other second. You don’t even need to be in the actual cities. The suburbs that are somewhat close are considered too much for them.
