      Animal Farm is a different book ffs. 1984 is about what fascism would look like in the UK conditions, how it would make itself appear in order to appeal and succeed, in much the same way the nazis took on “socialism” in order to appeal to germans due to its popularity at the time.

      1984 is not about communism. Regardless of Orwell being an anticommunist british media propagandist fuck in his later years playing into this and agreeing with the false notion this book is about communism hurts communists and is literally false.
