I saw Brain Damage (1988) a few days ago. Really felt it had a good premise but so many of the shots could’ve been halved, time-wise, plus they really should’ve had a different guy voice Aylmer bc his voice was way too funny to find legitimately menacing. Also, obligatory weird-ass depiction of sexual assault which seems to be common to cult horror films.
I highly recommend Cuba Feliz, which is free on YouTube. Also, Blue Lagoon is a fun watch strictly because it has really good cinematography and is ironically funny (even though the writing and acting are not great) plus William Daniels (Mr. Feeny) is in it.

Yeah, it’s really uncomfortable. I wasn’t expecting it, either, so when the scene started I had to roll my eyes in disbelief like 🙄
