The US changes its foreign policy at the drop of a hat. We’ve clearly seen with Trump that not even longtime partners like Canada or the EU are safe. They are absolutely not trustworthy nor reliable.
Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for their reign on the world. As a Canadian, I long for the day Canada finally starts calling bullshit on the US and starts cooperating with countries like China, though that’s probably a long time off.
Unfortunately, Canada is joined at the hip with US both economically and culturally. Until US implodes there’s no prospect of Canada having an independent policy that’s in the interest of its own people.
Sad but true. I feel like even 100% of the Canadian population supported socialism (hell, or even something simple like not hating China), the US would have none of that and literally nothing of value can be accomplished in Canada.
Yeah pretty much, it doesn’t matter what people of Canada actually want.
Looks like the US shoot itself in the foot.
