One thing I haven’t seen many people mention about last night is how huge it was for our young star players. Saka, Martinelli, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Nelson, finally playing at the level they deserve to be playing at, the very top of European football.
Everything they’ve done so far in their careers has led up to this moment. They were always destined to play UCL football, with or without Arsenal, and I’m so glad we’ve been able to provide them with it.
“With or without Arsenal” I disagree with. Saka and Martinelli sure, but given the type of club that Nketiah and Nelson were linked to before renewing it’s totally possible that they ended up at a club that’s always just outside those CL spots
Really happy that they’ve gotten their chance though. Especially Nelson.

Eh, I don’t care as much about that — anyone can get addicted to gambling or anything really, I don’t think he should be judged too harshly for it though the punishment is obviously necessary to prevent potential match-fixing. More worried about him doing it again though.
