There’s this cultural exchange program going on at my university where I’m supposed to do a zoom call with people living in Kiev, Ukraine. The war will be mentioned as part of the meeting. Should I bs them or should I tell them that I don’t support their Nazi military and government?

Edit: I know someone from Donetsk who’s now fighting for the Donetsk People’s Republic. Should I mention him?

This is 100% a psyop to push pro-Ukrainian war propaganda on western students, i wouldn’t even attend the zoom meeting if it isn’t strictly obligatory, and if you are forced to do so for your grade then i would just say nothing at all because it is a trap.

Sorry if this comes across harsh but at this point in Ukraine these sorts of programs simply do not happen without the approval and supervision of the state’s propaganda management agencies who ensure that the right narrative is maintained at all times.

You gain nothing from engaging in any way with this nonsense, and you risk exposing yourself to doxing and even physical harm if you push back against these people, no matter whether they are brainwashed fanatics or just intimidated into parroting the state line.
