I love not having to drive. And taking a convenient light rail or bus to meet friends at the bar is great.
My only complaint is my current city has a really bad issue with people camping out on the train cars, trying to do Google authenticator scams. Or I’ve had a few high as heck jerking off in the car.

They come up and ask if you can help them get access to their google account because they got locked out and [insert excuse why they cant get the code]. They ask you to put in your email so a recovery code for their account goes to you and would you please give them the code so they can get into their account. But its actually your account.

I don’t like public transport at all. I often just see arguments and fighting in subways. Causes me a lot of anxiety. Also, US subways don’t have platform safety doors. The NYC stories about people pushing people on the tracks… 😬 terrifying
Those platform safety doors will take ten years to be built, if they’ll even be built at all. 😔

Or maybe strike the part where you said „hate“ because you made that up, and instead add the opium epidemic, homelessness crisis, and rampant gun violence, which all contribute to the issue that public transport is much less pleasant than in other places.

I’m not sure I’ve heard of gun violence being a big thing on public transport.
