I don’t know if you’ve ever realized this, but not everybody is the same as you or shares the same experiences as you. It might seem like physical menus are obsolete to you, but there are millions of people who cannot use this QR code system for menus. It does not matter what year it is, accessibility needs to be provided for those without access to QR code menus. Just because you can use them, doesn’t mean everyone else can.

Physical maps exist. Other people exist to ask for directions. Cash exists. How do you think people functioned before smartphones were a thing? Jeez dude, it’s like you think that just because it’s 2023, the ways of doing things before smartphones are suddenly not an option because of them. Again, not everybody has access to cellphones or wants to use them just to read a friggin menu.

But plenty of ACTUAL people don’t for whatever reason. Furthermore, plenty of people (myself included) find it ridiculous to have to take out my phone to read the menu. Why you act like the world should bend and conform to your personal wishes and experience is beyond me
