    It usually finds me. I never applied for a position,I’m just on linkedin

      I’ve been job hunting, but a full half of my jobs are from customers or former coworkers poaching me to work with them. One or two from yes, having my resume up-to-date and posted.

    Depends on the field, but one common factor is I always make a point to go in when it isn’t busy and speak with the manager. I have been told many times after being hired that was specifically what set me apart.

        Hah, I can see why but not quite. I’m a millennial (sigh). Sometimes the old ways still work best, though I’ll admit my approach wouldn’t work in a corporate environment. I come from a history in Restaurants and Sales.
