Very youthful perspective on the matter; I appreciate it.

I may dislike the Russian Federation, but it’s unproductive (at best) and emotionally manipulative (at worst) to remind everybody of the targeted state’s crimes while an empire is threatening it, just as it would have been to focus on Ethiopia’s in 1935 or Czechoslovakia’s in 1938 while Fascism was threatening them. Our opposition to imperialism should not be a tit‐for‐tat deal and we don’t need to think of this situation in terms of ‘picking a lesser evil’. That kind of thinking simply gets us nowhere.

What we in the empire and its satellite states need to focus on is pressuring our ruling classes and impeding their war machines as much as possible to prevent the loss of innocents and reduce the likelihood of another world war. Only when we’re united at home, and not distracted and divided by warfare, does it become probable that we can overthrow our ruling class.
